Beam Tube: SINQ, guide hall, cold, NL12
Orion, 2011 Orion, 2012<

Double-C004/C002/Monochromators:

Orion takes-off the beam by a double monochromator in W-configuration. The first monochromator works with C004 at a take-off of 82.76o, the second monochromator at 38.6 o using C002.
This configuration avoids higher-order contamintation, but was also necessary to transport the beam to the given Orion-area, around the Narziss area.

λ=2.2141 Å (fixed)

Orion is using the new motorcontroller MC2010 with the standard SICS-software.

Detector-system:
- one single He3-tube
- one Uranium-based beam-monitor

- Sample table: standard 400mm beyond the beam
- closed cradle (in preparation)
- double goniometer head (+/- 12) 0
- Huber 512 closed cradle (cabling not ready yet, coming 2011)
